Participatory Urban Planning & Public Space Design

Superwien Urbanism is a Vienna-based urban planning firm. We design participatory planning processes that turn complex urban challenges into co-created plans that can be implemented.

Experience in Africa: For the World Bank's Maputo Urban Transformation Project in Mozambique, we designed 20 neighbourhood squares, including site selection, cost estimates and capacity building. We also work with local partners in Johannesburg on integrated river catchment planning.

Clients: World Bank, African Development Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, GIZ, SECO and national and municipal governments. We have completed 60+ projects on four continents.
