Festo is a global technology company specialising in automation and technical education. Through Festo Didactic, we help industrial companies, governments, universities, TVET institutions and development partners build technical capability aligned with real production and infrastructure needs.

At Africa Day 2026, Festo South Africa is seeking collaboration with Austrian industrial companies, project developers, EPCs, governments, financiers and development institutions whose African projects require a credible skills and local-capability component.

We are particularly interested in jointly qualified opportunities across West, Southern and Lusophone Africa where workforce development, training infrastructure and institutional capacity can strengthen manufacturing, mining, energy, water and infrastructure investments.

Potential cooperation can include capability-needs assessments, technical training centres, industry-aligned laboratories, digital and practical learning, train-the-trainer programmes and sustainable local implementation models.
