Circular Carbon Pathways (CCP) is an Austrian climate-tech company that fights climate change by turning agricultural waste into biochar — a charcoal-like material that locks away carbon for hundreds of years instead of letting it escape into the atmosphere. We develop and operate biochar projects in Africa, with a current focus on Zambia, working hand in hand with local farmers and agribusinesses. Crop residues are converted into biochar, which is then returned to the soil, where it improves fertility and water retention while permanently storing carbon. The removed carbon is measured, verified, and sold as carbon removal credits. In this way, CCP removes CO₂ from the atmosphere, strengthens African agriculture, and creates local jobs and income.
Pre-seed opportunity to back Circular Carbon Pathways: turning Africa's invasive and waste biomass into durable biochar and high-integrity carbon credits. Seeking angel and impact investors.
Seeking project-finance partners for GN Biochar 1, a pyrolysis plant in Lusaka turning Good Nature Agro's groundnut shells into biochar: carbon removal plus soil health for 30,000+ farmers. COD Q3 2027.
Investment opportunity in the Bweengwa geothermal project (Southern Zambia): baseload power scaling to ~20 MW, plus thermal energy and significant critical raw material recovery. Currently raising for a pilot and later for full build.
