Project Cooperation – Congolese Art & Education LabHub & African Handicraft Import

My main project is the Congolese Art & Education LabHub, a planned permanent institution in Vienna for the Congolese diaspora, currently in the conception phase ahead of a January launch. The LabHub combines art exhibitions, education programmes, and discourse on language and representation, with a rentable space that Congolese individuals and institutions can book for art shows, festivities, and cultural events, both private and institutional. It is also designed as a place for stakeholders, diplomats, businesses, and community members, to connect, get informed, and build bridges with the Democratic Republic of Congo. I am seeking cooperation partners, cultural institutions, educational organisations, and diplomatic contacts, to help shape and grow this hub.

Secondly, I am developing a fair-trade import business bringing art and handcrafted goods made by widows and orphans in the DRC and other disadvantaged African countries to Austria, sold locally and worldwide via an online shop. Here I am looking for cooperation on distribution, logistics, and trade access.
