Building Bridges Between Austria and DR Congo – Investment, Partnerships & Sustainable Development

Building Bridges Between Austria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo

I am Isabelle Ntumba Biakana, an Austrian citizen of Congolese origin, a missionary, humanitarian and founder and president of Light on the Horizon (Lumière à l’Horizon), established in 2007.

For nearly two decades, I have been committed to improving living conditions for vulnerable communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly in my hometown of Mbuji-Mayi.

One of our major achievements is the House of Hope (Maison de l’Espoir), a children's care centre inaugurated in December 2025. This project reflects my ability to turn a vision into concrete action through dedication, coordination and collaboration with committed partners.

Building on this practical experience, I am now seeking opportunities to strengthen economic and institutional cooperation between Austria and the DR Congo.

My areas of interest include international project coordination, business development, investment promotion, trade facilitation and the creation of sustainable partnerships.

I am particularly interested in collaborating with companies, investors, diplomatic missions, international organisations and public institutions seeking reliable connections and meaningful opportunities in the DR Congo.

My vision is to connect people, institutions and opportunities, transforming ideas into practical projects that create economic value, social progress and lasting impact.

I believe that successful partnerships are built on transparency, mutual respect, trust and concrete results.

I welcome professional connections and opportunities for collaboration.
