Strategic Partnerships & Investment Opportunities – Austria and DR Congo

Building Strong and Sustainable Partnerships Between Austria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo

I am Isabelle Ntumba Biakana, founder and president of Light on the Horizon (Lumière à l’Horizon), a humanitarian organisation established in Austria in 2007.

With nearly two decades of practical experience in humanitarian project development and coordination in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly in Mbuji-Mayi, I am committed to building meaningful and lasting partnerships.

One of our major achievements is the House of Hope (Maison de l’Espoir), a children's care centre inaugurated in December 2025. This project demonstrates how a clear vision, committed partners and coordinated action can create tangible results.

I am now seeking strategic partnerships with Austrian and international companies, investors, NGOs, development organisations and public institutions interested in exploring opportunities in the DR Congo.

Areas of potential cooperation include:

• Investment and business development

• Trade facilitation and international networking

• Sustainable agriculture and local economic development

• Education, healthcare and social infrastructure

• Humanitarian and community development projects

• Cross-border project coordination between Austria and the DR Congo

My goal is to connect reliable partners, encourage responsible investment and support practical initiatives that create economic opportunities while improving people's lives.

I bring intercultural understanding, local knowledge, established humanitarian project experience and a strong commitment to transparency, accountability and mutual respect.

I welcome organisations and individuals who share this vision and are interested in developing concrete, sustainable partnerships between Austria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Together, we can transform opportunities into action and build a better future.
